Payrolled employees in Brent fell from 169,950 in March 2026 to 169,729 in April, rose to 169,999 in May and 170,610 in June. The claimant count rose to 17,590 in May, and the proportion of residents aged 16 to 64 claiming moved from 7.1% in March to 7% in April and back to 7.2% in May.
